Our pillaged village

I just noticed Mad's post about the thievery going on over at Bitfuckers, and she was kind enough to point out that my site has been pilfered as well. Sure enough, they did. I choose not to type their name as to not promote them an iota more (or an iota more than they've already stolen and polluted with advertisements)

Stupid bastard fucks.

Mad said it perfectly so I see no need to rant on further. And I so hate giving them the satisfaction (um, right, like they would give a damn).

Bad karma, you greedy boys and girls. Very bad karma.

OMG! I have just spent a good twenty minutes with my jaw down to my knees, reading stuff about this issue. Those f--ing bastards!

Yeah, I have been over at Blog Antagonist's for the past week, reading up on this insane shit. It's enough to make you want to climb up a mountain and scream. My entire site's contents are there as well. Bastards is putting it mildly!

I just read about this last night...and I can't believe the audacity of those bastards! I'm confident though that someone out there will create a way to stop them...in the meantime, I'll stand behind all of you and urge karma their way...

Even bitfuckers doesn't want my stuff. That's all well and good on a propietary level, but I can't help feeling a bit left out. Ironic, isn't it? Oh,

Karma is a bitch...they'll get theirs in the end.

Regarding the Creative Commons license, if you go to Creative Commons.com follow the directions for "getting a license" Then, fill out your preferences, and viola! The html code pops up that you can cut and paste into your template.

Kittenpie posted this link to Plagiarism Today, which gives some constructive responses for those who've been plagiarized. (I see at least one of my posts up there. Jerks.) I will certainly follow the advice.

Awww man - they stole my stuff too. The only bright side, they aren't making any money off of me because I don't have any ads and for some reason there are no ads on their page with my stuff.

I hope they get a lot of infected papercuts counting their Euros.

A creative commons copyright won't save you from this, though. Bit runs on feeds, similar to Technorati or Bloglines, except without your permission or opt in/out. Anything you write is copyrighted the minute you finish writing it. I have added a copyright thing to the bottom of my blog but that doesn't change the fact that my entire blog is on their site as well. ARGH!
