timing issues

Is it just me, or does the conviction and subsequent death sentence for Saddam Hussein coincide quite nicely with Tuesday's elections.....

it's probably just me.

And for the less controversial side (at least globally) J-Dog has declared M's wardrobe to be a fashion disaster and has taken her shopping alone, for the first time in two years. I, on the other hand, think she's an icon in the making, top to bottom.

You decide.

Definitely an icon.

I don't think you're the only one thinking about the timing of this Hussein sentence.

Most definitely she's an icon. I haven't had a say in A's clothing for a long time. Oh I buy it, but the pairings of things is all hers alone.
Nothing with Iraq and all related is coincidence.

She looks pretty fabulous to me! I love the shades and the hair, to say nothing of her impeccable choice in handbags! Future style maven!

An icon, for sure! But, still, that doesn't mean she can't have MORE clothes. I think my husband will divorce me if I buy Piper another pair of shoes. I have my eye on green ones. She needs green shoes, n'est pas?

Nothing in politics is coincidence as far as I am concerned.

Definitely an icon! She looks cute, in my opinion.

You're not offtrack in the Hussein matter. That was all designed, I'm certain.

Peace,

It's just you. I'm sure that nothing would ever be done for political reasons. (AS IF!)
When my daughter was little, she always dressed herself. I used to refer to her outfits as "a joyous riot of colors".

It's not just you.

Icon, for sure.

She's cutting edge. She's setting the trends for babes everywhere.

My husb would never take our son shopping if I wasn't there. So count your blessings.

I also cast my vote in the "icon" camp. But I definitely need to see photos of her in whatever J-Dog buys. She clearly has accessorizing down -and at such an early age!

Refresh my memory on this Saddam Hussein thing again??? : ) Seriously, it is such an obvious move that it can't possibly work, can it? Is that juicier than high-on-meth gay sex with a male escort?

I can't remember what talking head it is/was, but someone always says it "SAD -um" instead of "sah-DAhm" and it cracks me up.

i soo agree about saddam... totally political.
M is too cute! babies arent supposed to be fashion icons! their job is to be totally cute! looks to me like she is doing a good job of it to me!

Icon. No doubt whatsoever.

Personal style is cool! And those curls - and that happy grin - what a cutie!

It's weird, the difference between there (US) and here (Canada). I was more floored by Bush being thrilled about the "death by hanging" sentence than I was in hearing the sentence itself. Even our most conservative politicians in Canada would manage their sound bite when it came to capital punishment (or so I like to believe).

Politics aside, M is an icon in the making.

It's you. It's me. It's us.

Absolutely fabulous, sweetie. Looking forward to seeing the new clothes too.

The Government here must be heartily glad that there are no elections in Britain until the local government ones in May. Hangings are not vote-winners here.

Oh sure, like he could do better than that? I don't think so. Move over SJP there's a new fashion icon.

Politics, the manipulation of headlines and the sensationalism of what should be non-issues are making me nauseous. How did I land in this crazy world? Has everyone lost their minds?

Your sweet child, on the other hand, is beautiful. There is no outfit that could detract from her glow.

esp. now that she has a certain pirate-balloon tee in her fashion repetoire, the girl is, for all practical purposes, her generation's Coco Chanel.

I want the glasses when she's done.
That is, if she doesn't have to give them back to Bono.
