Dude. Amen.

Today someone basically told me that if we hadn't made such shitty medical decisions for K, she wouldn't have been denied insurance.

Kyla,

that person can suck it.

Does that mean that your two days of hell have resulted in a win for you? I hope so.

I like how I can apply that to me. Though I know it is not meant to be about me. But you know. It works.

whatever you won sweet Jen. Good.

well, if you don't win today... you're off to the jungle, which definately counts as several points for the good guys.

Thought this might make you feel better:

We have been adopted by a stray, he just moved right in until he was sleeping amongst the wolves.

Well this dear dog likes to squeak. F was shouting, stop squeaking, stop squeaking. Then he (F not the dog) went silent. After a few seconds he said that's it. THAT. IS. IT. You asked for it. I am going to make you terribly goofed now.

Seconds later there was silence.

Clearly, he was talking about three-year-olds. Or am I the only one who feels that way?

Over from Momocrats...

I heard Amartya Sen speak last year or the year before. He gave another great Gandhi quote. When the British asked if Gandhi wouldn't like some greater role in a shared government, he is reported to have said, "Like is like offering me a post-dated check on a bank that is crashing."

My first thought: What does Gandhi know? He was just a "community organizer". That f-ing Palin is still getting under my skin.

(sorry, this doesn't help does it?)
